Mission Statement

That all pupils of Windsor Hill Primary School, regardless of background or ability, will be motivated, supported and sufficiently challenged to enable each one to achieve his/her potential in personal, social, intellectual, moral, spiritual and physical development.

We endeavour to achieve this by providing our pupils with:

  • a safe and stimulating learning environment which will enable them to work to achieve their full potential and equip them as good citizens and life-time learners.
  • the necessary skills to respond to the challenge and discipline of secondary education and the rapidly changing needs of society and work.
  • a caring environment where their mental and physical well-being is paramount and where parental partnership and community links are actively promoted.
  • a set of values based on the Christian religion which will guide and direct their spiritual and moral development and promote tolerance and acceptance of others.

Our vision and values

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Promoting Fundamental British Values

In accordance with The Department for Education we aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, all people living in England are subject to its law.

The Key Values are:

  • democracy
  • rule of law
  • individual liberty
  • mutual respect
  • tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs
