• Wellbeing and Internet Safety Resources

  We have a range of resources available on our website related to child safety, wellbeing and also staying safe while online.

   

  These have been provided by a number of different agencies including CAHMS, the PSNI, the Safer Internet website and RISE, and can be found by following the 'Parents - Useful Links' tabs at the top of each page or by clicking here.

   

  We also have an archive of Newsletters detailing a range internet related issues; these can be found by following the 'Latest News and Events - Newsletters' tabs.

   

  A further resource you may find useful is the Safer Schools NI app, which provides articles, news and activities you can use with your child.

• Ulster-Scots Workshop

  We were pleased to welcome The Schomberg Society to school today as they led an Ulster-Scots workshop of music and dance with the P6 and P7 classes.

   

  We learned rhythms for the Lambeg drum; learned about the pipes and listened to marching tunes and jigs; learned some Scottish dance steps, and were amazed by the talents of a Drum Major.

• Photographer is coming on Friday 26th January

  A beginning of the year letter has been added to our Letters and Updates for Parents section of the website with some dates and reminders for the term ahead.  

  Applications must now be made for P1 places for September 2024.  Please feel free to call the office for help with this process.

  Safer Schools NI report recieving concerns about a YouTube cartoon series called Jeffy.

   

  "At first glance, the puppet-style cartoon could be mistaken for child-appropriate content. However, Jeffy is part of a wider trend of animated videos that may look child-friendly but content-wise, they’re anything but...

   

  They have produced a response for parents, carers and safeguarding professionals to learn about what Jeffy and other adult animations are, the risks they pose to those in their care, and how they can respond.

• Christmas 2023 - Arrangements

  Christmas 2023 arrangments are now posted on the Letters and Updates for Parents Page. 

  Dates for class parties, concert, Santa Run, Christmas dinner etc. have also been added to the Calendar

• Breakfast Club and 2 - 3 Club Booking Forms available from the website

  Pupils can be booked into Breakfast Club and 2 - 3 Club each week using the booking forms which have been added to the Letters and Updates for Parents section of the website. 

  Both cost £2/ day and can be paid daily or weekly.
