Whole School Fire Safety Assembly
Pupils enjoyed a first visit of the year from the Northern Ireland Fire Service just before their Term Break when they leanred about bonfire and firework safety. The whole school, P1 to P7 gathered for a special 'Fire' Assembly to discuss how to be safe over the Hallowe'en holiday.

Fire Service Visit to P5/6
Our Hallowe'en Fire Safety Assembly was followed by a Fire Service visit to Mrs Magill's P5/6 class.
Representatives from the Fire Service in Newry distributed Fire Safety Packs to each pupil which enabled them to learn about fire safety in the home.
The Safety Pack included a 'Door Hanger Checklist'; 'Escape Route Stickers'; a 'Home Check Sheet'; a Fire Safety Colouring Sheet'; a Fire Safety Game to play and a set of Fire Safety Character Cards.
