We have been busy in our first month back in school after the summer holidays.
Numeracy
In numeracy, we have been learning the Story of 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.
We used Numicon to help us understand addition. This helped us complete our work.
We also have been busy learning the Number and Number Names.
In pairs, we matched the number to the number names.
Literacy
As our topic is 'Castles' we have been reading lots of Castle books. We read the book 'Small Knight and George' and then came up with questions to ask the characters in the story.

We have also been learning about Multi-Syllabic words in Literacy. We clapped out the syllables in words. On our page we put down the number of syllables each word has.
