HI PRIMARY 5!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and you had lots of fun on your extra day off!

I also hope and trust that you are all continuing to keep safe and well.

I hope you are all ready for another week of learning from home!

Here's what is happening in the week ahead...

New Learning Pack- Please check the 'Tuesday 26th May May Home Learning' tab on our class page for an overview of the activities you can try out and complete this week.

WAU-Check out the task for this week, it's all about what Ancient Egyptians liked to eat and drink. I've even included a recipe for some Ancient Egyptian inspired bread that you might even like to try out at home! If you do, let me know how you get on...

ART-Remember to head over to the Art section on this weeks learning pack to try some silhouette art. I really enjoyed seeing some of the scarab beetles that you created last week. I've added photographs of these to the May photo gallery, so if you missed these...check them out!

Operation Helpful Heart- I’ve continued to be so impressed with the messages I have been getting from some of your parents about how you are responding to our second week of ‘Operation Helpful Heart’. Following on from this, please check out ‘Operation Helpful Heart’ Week 3. I look forward to getting lots more messages about what you are doing for this.

Sentinus Challenge of the Week- Have a look at this weeks Sentinus challenge…you get to make Balloon Racers- which are such good fun if you can make them out in your garden!

Photographs and Messages- Thank you again to everyone who has taken the time to send me photographs and e-mails last week. I continue to miss you all very much and it really is lovely getting updates about what you have been getting up to. Don't forget to keep checking our class photo gallery daily!
