Maurice Hurley visits school
Maurice Hurley has undertaken a cycle around Ireland to raise awareness of the 17 Global Goals, which countries across the world have committed to achieving by 2030. His awareness raising journey began on 30 May in Dublin and ended on 20 June with his return to the city. In total, he travelled 2,200km on his bike across 22 days!
Maurice dropped into school on 19 June, after already covering much of the Irish coast on his bike. Maurice visited classes across the school and gave a talk to P7 pupils about the Global Goals. His visit was very much appreciated and greatly enjoyed by the pupils!
