Welcome to our redesigned school website. We are pleased that you have been able to visit, and hope that you will return regularly.

This is a place parents and friends to keep up to date with school news and notices, and a place to showcase some of the wonderful things our pupils are achieving.

We are particularly pleased that our new design has been optimised for easy viewing on smart phones and tablets, so you really can access relevant information, anytime and anywhere.

  • CEOP Link

    Wed 21 Sep 2016

In Windsor Hill we take Internet Safety seriously and seek to keep parents informed with relevant and up to date safety information. In order to support your efforts to protect your child we have added a CEOP link to the each page of our new website.

    What is CEOP?

    From their website:

The National Crime Agency's CEOP Command (formerly the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) works with child protection partners across the UK and overseas to identify the main threats to children and coordinates activity against these threats to bring offenders to account. We protect children from harm online and offline, directly through NCA led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies.

The CEOP website provides a wide range of resources and advice for parents, teachers and other professions to assist then in keeping children safe. Please visit.

  • Windsor Hill News - In Every Language

    Wed 21 Sep 2016

We are pleased to announce a new feature now available on our redesigned website - a 'Translation Button'.

This facility, which can be found at the bottom left of every page, will enable our 'Newcomer' pupils, parents and friends to more easily access news and information.

We trust it will be of assistance.

  • Digital Leaders

    Wed 21 Sep 2016

Following the successful introduction of a new after-school ICT Club last term, we are pleased to be able develop this venture by appointing a team of Digital Leaders.

It is planned that our Digital Leader Team will not only be responsible for helping staff to manage and troubleshoot our large range of ICT resources, but also have opportunities to share their ICT skills with others.

In doing this it is hoped that our senior pupils will further develop their own skills by teaching others, and contribute to the school ICT curriculum by suggesting and trialling new software, iPad apps and websites.

This is an exciting opportunity for the 'digital generation'.

Applications are currently open for Primary 7 pupils.
