The Primary 6 and Primary 7 class had the opportunity to visit The Argory, a National Trust property on Monday of this past week.
During their visit that learned something about what life would have been like for children working in a country house estate during Victorian Times. They toured the house and garden, learned about the role of ‘Lady’s Maid, ‘House Maid’ and ‘Garden Hand’. They planted seeds (which we hope will grow this summer), wrote letters to apply for a job and enjoyed their lunch in the sun.
it as a wonderful day out at the end of term, and one full of learning.

Today was the last day of this school year and we said goodbye to our Primary 7 classes—we will miss them all and wish every one success in all that they do next.
The slideshow below captures something of what they have done these last few weeks: some visited a STEM event at the Ulster University; some applied for jobs as 19th Century working children at the Argory; they went snow tubing on one of the hottest days of the year! and participated by performing and singing at our Leaves and Awards Assembly.
Every good wish for the future, P7, and many, many thanks to all our parents and caters for their support over all these years.
