• Key Stage 2 Parents' Information Booklet

  At our recent Parent Teacher meetings we were able to distribute some Information Booklets with suggestions for helping your Key Stage 2 child. This booklet is now available for download on the school website. It can be located by following the 'Parents', and 'Useful Links' buttons.

• Half term Break

  Please remember that school will be closed on Monday 31st October, Tuesday 1st November and Wednesday 2nd November for both our Half Term Break and Staff Training.

   

  In addition, Friday 28th October will be our PTA Non-Uniform Day. Donations of £1 for the PTA may be sent to school on Friday, if wished.

• Ulster Orchestra Visit P6

• Bryson Energy Visit P6 and P7

  Primary 6 and Primary 7 enjoyed a class visit from Bryson Energy today to learn a little about energy efficiency and saving energy at home.

   

  During the visit we learned that in every house, over half of the money spent of fuel bills is for heating and hot water. So, to help save money, there are some things we can all do:

   

  Turn your heating down a little.

  Turn off lights when you don't need them.

  Use energy saving light bulbs.

  Insulate your house.

  Switch off all electrical appliances and don't leave them on standby.

   

  All good advice, and something we always try to do in school as part of our ECO Schools Award.
