'Find your Brave'

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”

Nelson Mandela

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week!

What is Mental Health Awareness Week?

Children's Mental Health Week is an annual event which aims to raise awareness of what mental health is and the importance of us all doing what we can to support the development of positive mental health in children.

This year's theme of 'Find Your Brave' can be explored and supported through the lessons in this free Children's Mental Health Week 2020 provided by Twinkl.

Go through the PowerPoint which will look at these different areas for children:

  • to understand that positive thoughts can help achieve their goals.
  • to understand that resilience means trying again and not giving up.
  • they can think of things they would like to learn, get better at or achieve.

There are lots of challenges they can complete below!!
