Biodiversity Follow Up - December 2021
On a crisp, cold winters’ morning the P7’s headed out to our newly planted area to check out our schools new fruit trees 🌳 and plants 🪴. With help from Conor from Eco Schools we mulched around the trees, weeded the beds and even learned how to take cuttings from the blueberry 🫐 plants. Everyone has a great time outside. 🤩
Even better was the tasting session held after the tidying up. Pupils got to sample pears 🍐, strawberries 🍓, apples 🍏, raspberries, blueberries 🫐 along with Greek yoghurt, chocolate 🍫 and jam… YUMMY 😋
