Hello from Mrs Morton - 22.06.20

Hello Boys and Girls,

Last full week of home-schooling - I hope you are all doing o.k. I just wanted to remind you how fantastic you all are for keeping up with homeschooling for so long. Who would have thought we would be finishing this school year like this - it isn't fair that we can't have fun together. But I do look forward to a day, very soon,  that we can all be back in school safely together.

Take care everyone and have a great week.

Mrs Morton

Happy Monday everyone,

Back to the start of another week. The weeks just seem to be flying by - hope you are all well, it wont be long until we are 'officially' off on our holidays and your P5 year will be finished. It really makes me sad that our year was cut short and that I won't be teaching you next year - can you believe you all will be in Primary 6!! But as long as you are happy and safe at home, that's all I can ask right now!

I hope by the Summer holidays you might be able to enjoy a day trip somewhere nice, or even meet up with some of your friends outdoors. Always remember to keep safe and wash your hands.

Don't forget to email me with any of your photo's, or even just a short message to say 'hello', I'd really like that emorton198@c2kni.net

Take care everyone

Hello everyone,

Hope you all have had a great week of homeschooling and are well rested after the weekend. I also hope you have a look at some of the 30 day challenges I put up last week. My son William is doing the 30 day lego challenge, he loves building anything to do with lego.

It is great to hear from some of you and I love seeing your photos - please keep sending them.

Don't forget to keep practising for Sports Day - Healthy Kids virtual Sports Day will take place on 13th June - I hope you look forward to taking part in it.

I hope you all will have a good week of homeschooling, remember to do a little bit everyday and don't forget to be helpful at home too.

Take care

Hello boys and girls,

I hope you are all keeping well.....can you believe another week of homeschooling has started! We had a very busy week last week at our house - we were putting in silage. We also made a very exciting discovery on our farm - we found 10 little ducklings!! They are very cute, but we keep our distance as we don't want to scare the Mummy duck away! What did you get up to? I would love to hear or even just send a picture to my email address emorton198@c2kni.net.

Hope you all have a great week.

Hello Boys and Girls,

I hope you are all well. Hard to believe we are starting Week 8 of homeschooling.....I hope you are finding working at home ok, just try your best and remember some days might be more productive than others. I am finding that in our house - some days we don't get much completed and other days we get lots done!

This good weather reminds me of practising for sports daysad, but thanks to Healthy Kids we can all take part in a 'Virtual' onelaugh, just remember to register to take part! It will be really good fun!

Take care everyone

Hello boys and girls, I hope you are all keeping well!

Just a quick wee message to share something with you - my own children were sent this from their school and I thought it was something fun for you to do at home with your family. This activity is a Covid-19 Time Capsule, it is a keepsake of this moment and will be something for you all to look back on when this is over. Simply just click the link below, complete the workbook pages and put it away somewhere in a safe place.

You can also send me pictures of you completing your Covid-19 Time Capsules to emorton198@c2kni.net

Hope you enjoy making your Time Capsules.

Take care and keep safe

Hello Boys and Girls,

I hope you are all well. I miss seeing all your faces very much. I hope you are enjoying your time at home and are adjusting to life in isolation. I too have been adjusting to life at home, I have been trying to get into routine and do fun things with my own children like baking, painting rainbows, PE with Joe Wicks and going on spring scavenger hunts! We have even started to do our own 'Child of the Day' at home!

We have also been keeping up with our reading - reading books at home and online from Oxford Owl, My On and NI Libraries - there are loads to choose from! I hope you are all still reading too - please continue to read and take tests on AR and My ON, its so encouraging to see how many of you are!

Enjoy your weekend, stay safe and keep up with the hand washing!
