As we begin another week of learning from home just an update on a few things I would like you to check on-
Numeracy & Literacy- Please now look at these sections on our 'Monday 4th May Home Learning' tab on our class page- this is where your new learning packs have been added for this week. Please continue to work through the activities at your own pace and, where possible, get an adult to check your work.
Myon, Bug Club and Active Maths- Well done to all those who have already logged into Bug Club books and games on Active Maths. New games and books have been updated for some of you who are working your way through these really quickly! Lots of you still need to log into Myon, Bug Club and Active Maths where I have assigned books and games to each of you…so please, give it a go!
WAU- Please check out this section on our class page. This week I have included more activities linked to our new topic 'Ancient Egypt'. I’ve just loved seeing the photographs of your completed activities so far, so keep up the great work!
Art- This week I have added a link to some Ancient Egyptian inspired art you could try out at home. All you need is a paper plate and markers…it really is that simple! Please remember to send me through photographs of your final piece. You might even like to model it in your photograph!
Calling all aspiring scientists! Hopefully you’ll have noticed that I uploaded a Sentinus STEM challenge called ‘Walking Water’. Well done to Wiktoria, she actually managed to make the water walk. If you missed this have a look in our class photo gallery. Please have a look at this weeks Sentinus challenge that I have uploaded. Have a go and let me know how you get on…I look forward to seeing lots more photographs of these.
Operation Gratitude- Check this out...and keep those great photographs coming in of your lovely gestures for all our heroes working so hard on the frontline.
Photo Gallery- Keep checking out our class photo gallery and keep sending your photos to me on firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ve loved seeing all the photographs you’ve sent me, and hearing about the fun things you’ve been getting up to…
Even though we are living in this ‘storm’ called ‘lockdown’, don’t forget to ‘dance in the rain’ by having fun and making lots of lovely memories with your family!
Take care, keep safe and keep well,
