Flight in Nature ( Jan- Feb 2020 )
This half-term Primary 5 are learning about 'Flight in Nature' focusing on birds in particular. Later this month we will carry out the Big Bird Watch in our school grounds. To encourage more birds to visit our school garden we recently made some bird seed cakes. We then spent time in literacy and ICT time making flow charts and writing instructions for making our bird seed cakes. We also spent time in numeracy calculating the cost of the ingredients in a range of different supermarket stores and deciding upon which would be the most cost effective option.
