Hello P6!

Well done on completing another week of Home Learning! I received so much work by email last week, it was wonderful! You are all doing incredibly well. Here are a few things for this week:

MyOn - NEW READING RECORD!!! Are you reading for it... Last week our class read for a total of... 31 hours and 42 minutes!!! laughyes It's great to see so many quizzes, projects and reviews being completed also. I hope you enjoyed reading the classic stories last week. There will be no MyOn project this week as I'd like you to focus on the Literacy and Numeracy that has been posted on the website. Keep doing your daily reading and there will be a new project next week.

Europe Projects - Just WOW. I can't tell you how impressed I am with your Europe projects! It is clear how much thought and effort went into them. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every single one and I learned something new from them all! It was great to see a variety of formats including Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, paper and vlog. Lots of you have been busy developing your ICT skills too! They have all been posted in the WAU section. Please take time this week to check them out. I'm sure you will learn something from someone else's project!

Art - The pieces of art that I received last week were, as always, great. There are some lovely representations of WHPS. They have been posted in the art section. This week is based on something I was doing during lockdown. Go check out the task for this week and you might get a sneak peak at some of my work!

Literacy & Numeracy - New spelling activities have been added on Active Learn to match the spelling list for this week. Literacy is based on Speech Marks. Please review the 6 posters carefully... you'll see them in the Literacy section this week. Numeracy is based on Percentages. Keep going with your Mental Arithmetic book also.

Remember -

Enjoy your week and keep up the great work!

Miss Nesbitt
