Hello P6!
I hope you enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend and a day off work yesterday!
Here are some notes for the rest of the week:
MyOn - New Reading Record!! A very impressive 28 hours 7 minutes!! I am blown away by how diligent our MyOn users have been. Keep up the daily reading! There are a few people who started their project last week but didn't complete it. If you can, submit it this week and then move on to the next one. I have marked all those that were handed in.
Spellings - A new spelling list has been added to the 'Literacy' section and new games on Active Learn to go with it! Remember, you may find the www.aaaspell.com website helpful too.
Art - I think the Nature Art has been my favourite so far! I was so impressed each time I received one by email. They are all so creative and artistic. Check them out in the 'Art' section. This week... JUNK ART!
WAU - Have you started your Europe project yet? You have two more weeks to research and write up your project on a European country of your choice.
Onomatopoeia Poems - WOW!! Such fantastic poetry! Thank you so much to everyone who wrote and sent in a poem. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them. You all made great use of onomatopoeia and other language features. Check out the poems in the 'Literacy' section. They're definintely worth a read!
Literacy & Numeracy - Numeracy this week is Data Handling. Remember to complete the next 2 tests in your Mental Arithmetic book also. Literacy is Creative Writing, including some more poetry. After the poems last week, I'd love to read your 'Rainbow Poem' this week - rnesbitt653@c2kni.net.
Remember -
Speak soon,
Miss Nesbitt
