Dear Boys, Girls and Parents,
As we come to the end of Term 3, today is the last day of Primary 5 for you all. It sure feels very strange that we're not in school to say goodbye to each other. When we began Primary 5, way back in September 2019, not one of us expected that this is how it would end.
But please....
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for working so hard on the activities we uploaded for you on our class page. Thank you to all the helpers who have assisted you at home and many of them who have also juggled their own work commitments. We could not have done this all without you and your helpers support, enthusiasm, dedication, humor and encouragement. Words can never convey our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
We know it has been really hard to stay at home and learn from home for so long, and we are so proud of our Primary 5 pupils for doing this! The adults in your life and around the world are working really hard so that it will be safe to go back to school in the new term.
Every Thursday in Lockdown we clapped for the people who have been working so hard to keep us all safe. Today we clap you! Our little heroes who have stayed at home and learned from home everyday-missing your school, friends, classroom assistants and teachers- all to keep your friends and family safe. Well done!
So please have a relaxing, happy and safe summer break which you have well and truly earned ( and so have your parents); and we really look forward to seeing you all again when school re-opens next term.
Bye for now, take care and have lots of fun in the sun,
Mrs Magill, Mrs Morton & Mrs McDonnell
