HELLO PRIMARY 5
We are now into our final week of Term 2 in Primary 5! I really hope you are all keeping safe at home and are enjoying this time with your family. Below are just few things I would like you to check on, or have a look at-
Numeracy & Literacy- I hope that you are continuing to work hard and trying to get most of the tasks and activities I included in your first learning pack fully completed before the Easter break! Remember, if you have any questions, queries or concerns about these please get your mum or dad to e-mail me on: lmagill279@c2kni.net
Easter Competition- In case you have not yet noticed, I have added an Easter competition as a tab below this message...so PLEASE have a look! There's still plenty of time to enter! All you need to do is decorate your egg, take a photo and get your parents to send me the photograph by e-mail. I will then add the entries that I have received to our class page.
Myon, Bug Club and Active Maths- I'm keeping a check on your online activities and can see that some of you have been doing lots of reading on MyOn, a few have used Bug Club, and lots of you have been busy playing games on Active Maths. Well done, if that is you! If you haven't got a chance to login yet, please try to do this over the next few days. Remember, if you have any questions, queries or concerns about these please get your mum or dad to e-mail me on: lmagill279@c2kni.net and I will do my best to get any problems sorted before the holidays.
Additional Resources and Activities- I've updated this section of our class pages with a few new links for you to try out in literacy, numeracy, WAU and PE too! So please have a look...
Calling all our aspiring scientists! Sentinus are going to be posting online STEM challenges on their social media sites from Monday 6th April. Please see the attached flyer for more information by going to Additional Resources and Activities and then clicking on WAU.
PATHS- I have also added a 'Storms Don't Last Forever' tab below this message...so PLEASE also have a look at this! You might have noticed that your neighbours are putting rainbow images up in their windows. The rainbows aim to make people smile while they're walking by, and also offer a message of hope to us all...
Please take care, keep safe and try not to eat too much chocolate over Easter!
