Literacy/WAU Explanation Writing on the Lifecycle of a Butterfly
In term 2 we were learning all about birds, bugs and beasts as part of our WAU topic work. At the start of this term we were delighted to welcome some special visitors to our classroom- our very own caterpillars!
We have really enjoyed watching them grow and change from tiny little caterpillars to some beautiful painter lady butterflies. We were excited, but also a little sad, to release them into the wild in our school garden.
We then used all of this knowledge to help us create explanations of the lifecycle of a butterfly using our class iPads. Have a read of some of our excellent explanations.
