Ulster-Scots Workshop

We were pleased to welcome The Schomberg Society to school today as they led an Ulster-Scots workshop of music and dance with the P6 and P7 classes.

 

We learned rhythms for the Lambeg drum; learned about the pipes and listened to marching tunes and jigs; learned some Scottish dance steps, and were amazed by the talents of a Drum Major.
