People Who Help Us
Primary one had a special visitor to their class today - A PARAMEDIC. She talked to the children about her job and what she does to help others. We also got a chance to go into the ambulance and look at some of the equipment used. It was very exciting. We even got to hear the loud siren!!

P1 were thrilled to meet a real-life firefighter from the Newry Fire and Rescue Team last week!
Firefighter Fegan told us all about her important job helping people in emergencies and keeping everyone safe. The children loved learning about the special uniform she wears and why each part is so important for protection. P1 asked brilliant questions and discovered how brave firefighters are.
A big thank you to our visitor for sharing her time and teaching us about fire safety. You are an everyday hero!
