Retirement Gift
The school PTA was pleased to present Miss Bratton, our long-serving, much appreciated and dedicated member of staff with a retirement gift at a staff tea on Friday 31st August. Committee members, Mrs. Donnelly and Mrs. Lowey, pictured below, spoke warmly of Miss Bratton's care and service to generations of Newry families, and presented her with original oil paintings of local scenes including the Fairy Glen at Rostrover.
Miss Bratton, the longest serving member of staff and who had previously taught in Newry Model School, will be missed for her caring attitude, thoughtfulness and wise counsel. As members of the PTA and school staff we acknowledge her many years of dedicated service to the teaching and learning of our whole school community, and wish her a long, happy and healthy retirement.
